Within hospital settings, different stakeholders at multiple levels interact with patients and survivors- doctors, nurses, support staff, administration, etc. CEHAT workshops are tailored to meet the needs of these stakeholders and provide them gender-sensitive and relevant information, support skills and bring about a change in attitudes, perceptions and biases.

Comprehensive Healthcare Response to Sexual Violence

Sexual violence has significant negative impact on physical and psychological health of survivors. Survivors often seek medical assistance at a health facility and comprehensive, gender-sensitive health care becomes essential to aid the survivor’s recovery.

Comprehensive Healthcare Response to Women and Girls Facing Gender-based Violence

CEHAT conducts a one-day workshop for hospital-based healthcare providers on identifying and addressing cases of domestic violence. Women in the reproductive age group often access health services for themselves and for their children.

Engendering Medical Education - Workshop at B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, 15th to 17th October 2024
