CEHAT (Centre for Enquiry into Health and Allied Themes) is the research centre of Anusandhan Trust. We are involved in research, training, service and advocacy on health and allied themes.
This is an unique service provided by library based on the newspapers subscribed wherein the selected topic of interest to the users like Public Health, Healthcare, Aids awareness, Health legislation, Patients rights, Women’s health, etc. are clipped and maintained in files News paper title wise & date wise for reference to the users.
iii)Access to Statistical Health Database
CEHAT has a computerized statistical health database on over 500 variables on various health indicators. The database gives State and All India level information.

We offer Information and Reference services in order to meet the information needs of a variety of different patrons, whether they are a staff member, or the general public. We can help them to locate materials in our collections or at other libraries, use a variety of reference books, indexes, and databases, and assist them in formulating effective search strategies to streamline their research.
All libraries operate on a basic principle - to make their resources available to their clientele.Basically CEHAT is a Research Centre & the Library and Documentation Unit is filled with books, reprints, videos, documentary films, magazines, journals, newspapers, and other resources available for your use. The library is also a virtual, electronic library that provides access to organizational repositories like Books, Articles Papers and many other resources through its Website.
After completing this module you should have a general idea of the great variety of resources available through CEHAT Library, how these resources are organized as well as many of the services available to you from CEHAT Library.
The library has a rich collection of books, journals, articles, Newspaper's clippings, relating to health and related themes.There are around 12,000 books and reports, 6000 reprints. The library subscribes 12 periodicals and gets 30 periodicals on gratis. The collection is one of its unique kind on Social Science Research in Health.The collection is rich and contains a specialized selection of literature on health and related subjects.In addition to that there are Publications of CEHAT which are outcomes of the research projects which are undertaken by CEHAT which are in the form of books, research reports, manuals, papers/articles and posters.
