Third National Course Violence against women and role of health care providers (HCP's)

The 3rd National Course this year was organised from 13th Jan to 21st January at YMCA International, Mumbai. This time there was an overwhelming response and there were 39 participants. The participants were mainly from Maharashtra, besides a team from M.Y. Hospital Indore, two participants from Nepal and two from Bangladesh.Efforts were put in to get teaching faculty deputed for the course and there were 15 nursing tutors deputed for the course. The participants were very happy to attend the course and were determined and highly motivated to help women facing violence. Dr. Mandakini Megh, Deputy Director, Nursing, Government of Maharashtra was the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Session.
