CEHAT is looking for Counsellors for its project Dilaasa. Dilaasa, India’s first hospital based crisis department was established at K. B. Bhabha hospital, Mumbai to make the public health care system accountable to the issue of domestic violence. The current project aims at setting up similar hospital based crisis centres across the country.

Job Requirements

• Provide counselling support to all the replication sites to respond to Violence Against Women (VAW)
• Demonstrate the counseling model to team of counselors in replication sites
• Review current literature related to rape counseling and develop a model for counselling women reporting sexual assault/ rape.
• Put together modules for counselling based on the training conducted on VAW.

Qualification
Post Graduate in social science or graduate in medicine with relevant 1 to 2 years experience.

3.Vacancies for Junior/ Middle Level Trainer

Job Responsibilities

• Liaison with and organize training workshops with health professionals of the hospital on Violence Against Women(VAW).
• Provide counseling services to the women facing violence as well as demonstrate counseling to those in the team so that they can learn it.
• Be involved in all aspects of the Replication project.
• Conduct trainings of personnel on VAW.
• Document and make reports of all the training proceedings.

Qualification
Post Graduate in social science or graduate in medicine with relevant 1 to 2 years experience.
