Qualification:
A Masters degree in Library and Information science with 2 years experience and interested in health Studies. Skills: The candidate should be well read, with excellent computer skills such as word processing and database management and internet. Good skills to efficiently index and categorize library resources. Writing skills will be an added advantage.
Job responsibilities
The candidate would be In-charge of
· Managing and maintaining the Library Systems so all the information is organized to meet the user needs
· Assisting researches in finding scholarly and public information from various sources
· Independently preparing bibliographies
· Independently representing the organization at different fora (including social networking) with a focus on disseminating research output and establishing fruitful collaborations.

Vacancy on a project “Integrating Gender in Medical Education”
CEHAT, with support from the UNFPA, is implementing a pilot project to integrate gender in medical education, in 6 Medical Colleges in the state of Maharashtra. The project involves working with faculty from 5 departments – Medicine, Psychiatry, Gynaecology, Forensic Medicine and PSM – to help them gain an understanding of gender as it relates to their fields, and develop methods for teaching this to their students. The project is looking to recruit mid-level researchers.
“Qualification”
Graduate in Medicine or Post Graduate in social work, sociology, public health, or allied fields, with relevant 2 to 3 years experience. “Job responsibilities include:”
• Creating material for training of HCPs on gender and medical education, related to the selected disciplines
• Developing research proposals to evaluate methods
• Selecting participants and organizing workshops as part of the project
• Liasoning with representatives from the MUHS and Medical Colleges
Salaries will commensurate with qualifications and experience between Rs 25,000 - 35,000.

Vacancy on a project “Developing a Comprehensive health care response to sexual assault”
“Qualification”
Post Graduate in social work, psychology, public health, or allied fields, with relevant 2 to 3 years experience.
“Job responsibilities include:”
• Crisis counselling for survivors of Sexual Violence and domestic violence.
• Facilitation and coordination of multi agency response (police, legal aid, shelter services, follow up for emotional support etc) to respond to survivors of DV and SV.
• Carry out documentation through drafting of case studies, reports and articles.
• Be a part of the training and research team and undertake relevant activities on the issue of VAW.
• Good writing skills are essential

Vacancy for Middle and Junior Level Researchers.
CEHAT is looking for middle and junior level researchers, mainly for its ongoing research study on Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana in three states.
Qualification: The candidate should be a Postgraduate with an understanding of Health Economics, preferably with a Public Health background. They should have one to three years of relevant experience, quantitative research skills, good writing skills, an overall knowledge and experience of conducting research and a willingness to travel for data collection and advocacy.
The candidate should develop an overall perspective of the study and be part of the research study, should be able to coordinate with partners, and be part of advocacy activity.
Salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in the range of Rs. 25000/- and Rs. 35000/- p.m

Vacancy for the post of Admin & Account Officer:
CEHAT is looking for an Admin & Account Officer who will be in charge of all administrative and accounts function of the organization.
Administrative : functions include developing systems for smooth functioning, personnel related functions-Preparing contracts, renewal, Insurance etc, AMC renewal & Insurance contracts of equipments coordination, reviewing stocks needs, organizing workshops, conference and meetings, Computer Maintenance. Day to day administrative functions.
Accounts : functions include: Preparation of cheques, vouchers, follow up of supporting documents etc., Maintaining books of accounts on Tally, fulfilling statutory requirements, salary processing, Liaison with the audits and other accounts/finance related functionaries, Financial management, budgeting.
Qualification: Graduate with min 3 years experience in Administration & Accounts. Should have good computer knowledge of MS Office packages (word, excel, access), and Tally 9.2 essential., fluency in English, Hindi & Marathi, good drafting skills. Age not more than 35 years.
Salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
