The ongoing pandemic we sought to carry out awareness on issue of Violence Against Women (VAW) and carried out poster exhibition, pamphlet distribution and so on. We received an overwhelming response to it. VAW has spiked in times of COVID and lockdown. Health providers continue to be the first point of contact. This underscores the need for creation of awareness of counselling services, which was rendered by hospital based crisis centres.
